What is Forslean®?
Forslean® is extracted from the root of the Coleus Forskohlii plant, a member of the mint family of plants, usually found in subtropical areas such has India. Coleus Forskohlii is used in Ayurveda, it has been used to treat hypothyroidism, allergies, asthma, eczema, psoriasis, obesity, glaucoma and for conditions associated with muscle spasm including spastic colon, hypertension, angina and bladder pain, and to reduce weight and increase lean body mass. Coleus Forskohlii is generally considered safe, non-toxic and without any side effects at the recommended dosage. Coleus Forskohlii should not be used in the place of medication, and as with any supplement, you should check with your doctor first before using it.
How does Forslean® work?
Forslean® works by increasing cAMP levels in your body, which bind to the receptors inside the cells to produce a message to your brain to increase your body’s thermogenic response to food, increase your body’s basic metabolic rate, and increase utilization of body fat.[i] Forslean® also leads to subsequent activation of the protein Kinase. Kinase has been shown to activate the hormone-sensitive Lipase that is involved in the breakdown of triglycerides, known as the building blocks of fatty tissue.
Is Forslean® safe?
In 7 clinical trials with Forslean®, 250mg of Forslean® divided into two doses each day, participants lost anywhere from 4-9 pounds each after taking it for 12 weeks. The group taking the placebos gained weight during this 12 weeks, while maintaining the same level of fitness and eating plan. None of the participants saw an increase in blood pressure during the study. [ii]

What is Tyrosine?
Tyrosine is an amino acid that the body produces through phenylalanine. It affects your mood and stress responses in the body. It is found in meat, fish, eggs, dairy, beans, nuts, oats and wheat.
What is Tyrosine used for?
Tyrosine is also used to help make dopamine, adrenaline and noradrenaline, thyroid hormones, and melanin. Tyrosine is given to people with PKU disease, because their bodies cannot process phenylalanine, which the body needs to produce tyrosine.[iii]
It is also helpful in improving mental performance, alertness or memory, and when working out, to reduce fatigue.
Is it safe?
Tyrosine is safe for most people. However, more research is needed to determine if it has a negative affect on people taking MAOIs for depression, thyroid problems or Parkinson’s Disease. As with any supplement, you should consult your physician first before taking Tyrosine.
The military has been known to use Tyrosine during hard physical missions, because they know it fights fatigue during exercise.
How much should I take?
It is recommended to take 400mg 30-60 minutes before exercising for the best results.

Is it safe?
There have been no reported side effects of taking L-Theanine, and drinking tea is safe for most people.
The recommended dosage to help with sleep, stress or weight management is 100mg – 400mg per day.

What is Salicin?
Salicin is an anti-inflammatory agent produced from the White Willowbark Tree.
What does Salicin do?
It is metabolized in the body to salicylic acid, and has been used traditionally to treat wounds, aching joints and muscles, and has aspirin-like, anti-inflammatory properties that are sometimes used to treat acne topically and other skin conditions and also reduce fevers. Oral administration of 120mg – 240mg for 4 weeks reduced back pain in patients with lower back pain. [v]
Salicin is a good supplement for sports enthusiasts who have joint or muscle pain.
Is it safe?
Several studies have been conducted using white willow bark and its salicylates in improving resistance training output, and found that the decrease in perceived pain as a result of the salicylate resulted in significant increases in resistance training performance.
Salicin is safe for most people. It can cause allergic reactions like itching and rash in people who are allergic to aspirin.
The recommended dosage for fat burning properties is 100mg twice a day.

What are Raspberry Ketones?
Raspberry ketones are found in red raspberries, and are responsible for giving them their flavor. They are also found in kiwi, cranberries, grapes, rhubarb, peaches, blackberries, apples, and pine bark.
What do Raspberry Ketones do?
Raspberry ketones promote weight loss by increasing your body’s adinonectin levels, which is the hormone that moderates fat, causing fat to break down and disappear from your body.

Raspberry ketones are considered generally safe for most people, but those with high blood pressure, COPD or heart issues should talk with their doctor before taking them.

What is Cayenne Pepper?
Cayenne Pepper is a type of chili pepper grown in Central and South America and Europe. They are used throughout the world in cooking and for medicinal purposes. Capsaicin, the active ingredient in cayenne peppers, gives them their medicinal properties.
What does Cayenne Pepper do?
Cayenne Pepper can boost your metabolism by increasing the amount of heat your body produces through thermogenesis, and increase your feeling of fullness. In one study, participants added cayenne pepper with MCT oil during meals and increased their thermogenesis by 50% compared to non-users.[vi] You will build a tolerance to it over time, though, so cycling on and off can be beneficial.
Cayenne Pepper is also shown in many studies to reduce hunger. This is thought to occur through a reduction in the hormone ghrelin, which tells your body to keep eating. In addition, cayenne pepper has other digestive properties that are beneficial for you.
Is it Safe?
Cayenne peppers are generally recognized as safe to eat. Start with a small amount if adding to your food, though, to assess your tolerance, as they are quite hot. If you take blood thinners or high blood pressure medications, check with your doctor before taking cayenne pepper.
The recommended dose of cayenne pepper is 20mg – 100mg per day, up to 3x per day.

Green Coffee Bean Extract
What is Green Coffee Bean Extract?
Green Coffee Bean Extract is taken from green, unroasted coffee beans. They are loaded with antioxidants, caffeine and chlorogenic acid. Chlorogenic acid is the ingredient that produces the weight loss effects, and is removed when the beans are roasted.
How does Green Coffee Bean Extract work?
Chlorogenic acid reduces the absorption of carbohydrates from the digestive tract, which lowers blood sugar and insulin spikes. It can also reduce fat absorbed from the diet, and improve cholesterol and triglyceride levels. [vii]
Is it safe?
It has been shown to be safe for most people, but too much caffeine can cause jitteriness and rapid heartbeat. The recommended dosage of green coffee bean extract is 240mg – 3000mg per day, depending on your tolerance. Start with a lower dose to assess your tolerance.
